The Portage County Board of Elections reminds voters that Ohio
law requires that you be registered in the state of Ohio 30 days
prior to an election at which you intend to vote. Submit any change
of name or address to the Board of Elections no later than 30 days
prior to election day.

Qualifications for first time voters in the State of Ohio:
• must be a citizen of the United States
• must be 18 years old on or before the day of the election
• must be a resident of Ohio for at least 30 days prior to an
election
• provide Ohio drivers license number, or last four digits of Social
Security number
